Our team

Oliver Hoppe

The lead psychologist

Stories have always been a part of his life. His journey began in the County of Bentheim and led him via Oldenburg and Vienna to Hamburg, passing through many places and meeting even more people. In Vienna, he studied psychology and graduated with distinction, specializing in clinical and health psychology as well as work, organizational, and business psychology.

In his professional and private life, as well as on his travels, he encountered people with vastly different life paths, and his curiosity was always drawn to what lay behind them: their experiences, turning points, and memories.

This passion gave rise to the service that sustains him today: guiding people in writing their own stories.

When he's not listening or writing, he loves spending time with his dogs and cats. To unwind, he practices martial arts, and when time allows, he enjoys surfing and snorkeling. For several years now, he has been looking out over Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from the Indian Ocean and still feels a deep connection to the people there.

Nova brings the emerging stories to life visually. She adds photos and other visuals and supports Oliver with the organizational aspects.

In her main job, she manages SEANOHA Business Partner, a Bali-based B2B market access platform that assists international manufacturers and service providers entering the Indonesian market. Her background in civil engineering, urban planning, statistics, and organizational development helps her to clearly structure even complex projects and reliably bring them to fruition.

We believe in the unique character of regions and generations. Someone who grew up in the countryside in the 1950s had different experiences than someone who lived through the fall of the Berlin Wall, grew up in a big city, or started a new life in another country. Every region and every generation brings its own stories, imagery, and formative experiences.

That's precisely what we find so appealing. We value the diversity and depth of lived experience, and we are convinced that no two life paths are alike. That's why we approach every person with genuine curiosity and openness, listening before we write.

From this diversity emerges something greater: a treasure trove of memories that demonstrates how different and yet unifying human experiences can be. Those who tell their stories preserve not only their own lives but also a piece of the time and place where they unfolded.
